M120 Spring?
« on: June 17, 2017, 09:08:17 PM »
So I own a Cm16 Predator by G&G, all stock. Now it is the intermediate model, which has a "IFRIT 25000 High Torque" motor. Im currently only shooting at 320 fps. Id like to up this so I can use heavier BBs. Im goig to get inside and do my compressions, I have a new air nozzle with o ring to install. I also use a 9.6v 1600wah battery. Should I be okay to upgrade with a M120 spring?

The IFRIT 25000 motor has (Rare-Earth) Neodymium Magnets, so it should be pretty well set to pull an M120 spring with stock gears with a 9.6v. Though I don't know if that motor has the wider armature, similar to that of the ICS Turbo 3000.

Needless to say, you should be solid regardless. I won't go into the nitty gritty techy details on motors and magnets though.
