Just found the company Bitter End, which makes steel mesh goggles and masks. MIA doesn't allow mesh goggles because they aren't ANSI compatible, right? The mesh looks tempting just because they don't cause fog problems.

There is no fogging but when bbs hit the mesh they can splinter and then you have bb shards in your eyes. As temping as it is I beg you to not buy mesh goggles.

The only place on your list that I have been to is Hells Survivors when the Bastards have held events. Except for when that happens they are primarily a paintball field. I would suggest Action Paintball where Pagan holds events once the weather is better. Welcome to the community!

I would suggest starting off with one gun in the 350 fps range. That way you can use it in both outdoor and indoor. Fps is not equal to range so just because you have a low fps gun doesn't exclude you from field play. Also with a low fps gun you can come closer to people without having to draw your side arm which in my opinion is a major advantage.

The main problem with CO2 is that it shoots too hot to be used up close which is really the point of using a pistol also CO2 puts a lot of wear on a gun.
