Airsoft Discussion / Who has that TM MP5K now?
« on: December 24, 2018, 01:37:54 AM »
For anyone that has been around here for more then 5 years (likely closer to 10 year) you may have seen or owed a TM MP5k with a folding stock that was painted black with white digital camo painted over it.

I purchased it a long time ago, I think i was about the 5th owner of it and I believe it was sold at least 5 more times after that. I remember it had like a 3 inch barrel and shot about 275fps but it was the most accurate gun I ever saw and could hop a bb forever. ( pre R-hop days)

I would love to know if anyone knows where it finally ended up or who has it and if it is still alive. Does anyone have any pictures of it?

Or am I the only one that remembers it?

So I have come across a few scammers on this forum in the last 2 months. The guy selling the tippman M4 almost got me but I was able to get a refund ($300). I have had 2 more attempts from brand new accounts trying to make trades with me as well, both accounts are very shady. I would strongly recommend only doing business with people you know or people that you can meet face to face. I would not trust any accounts that are under 3 months old either. You have been warmed.

If you come across any accounts that you suspect of fraud post them here with as much info as you can provide, lets look out for each other.

Airsoft Discussion / Custom built Lanchester smg. in progress.
« on: October 09, 2016, 02:10:06 AM »
Since no one makes a lanchester I decided to make one from the ground up. The closest thing out is the Sten, and a few people have done a conversion to turn it into a lanchester. I was thinking about doing this as well but decided that It would be a lot cooler to make it from scratch and make it a hpa gas blowback with programmable features like the polarstar.

This is what the lanchester looks like:

My goals are to have a relatively close representation of the lanchester. Im not going to be ultra strict on making it look purely authentic but I will get it pretty close. I am also going to make the blowback action as strong as I can possibly get it. I have a ~.5 pound steel slug in the blowback chamber that will be striking the blowback stop at ~100 fps (@120 fps). The total impact impulse on the blowback stop will be ~105 joules, that should be pretty crisp on the shoulder.

My current progress on the receiver is that I have all the major holes drilled and I have the slots laid out for machining. I am hoping to find some time tomorrow to finish the slots and clean up all the burrs.

Here is a picture of the receiver in its current state. (yes I know my floor is a fucking disaster, Im working on that too)

This is a picture of the recoil system/ blowback.

The recoil system and the actual firing of the bb are two different chambers. The air will be supplied by my hpa tank and will enter the system into the aluminum block, the air is all directed backwards towards the steel slug, it will be forced back very rapidly. Once the steel slug moves back 1.75 inches, the aluminum tube will no longer be inside the slug and it will allow the air to escape into the chamber that moves the nozzle forward and fires the bb. The bb firing chamber is not shown in the pictures since i have not finished making it yet. I am hoping to finish that part by this coming Friday.

my next steps are to machine the front receiver block and the hopup unit. Both will be made from steel. once those are completed I will do some testing to make sure everything is working nicely together, then I will start making the wood stock. I have talked to a guy from europe that makes cnc reproduction stocks out of walnut, he quoted me $100 plus shipping. I may go this route since I know it will turn out very nice and I know it will take me considerable time to do all the necessary work by hand.

I also need to design and make the electronics circuit. It will be rather simple and include semi and full auto along with being able to adjust my air flow times.

Let me know what you guys think and if you have any suggestions.

Tech Questions / Best hopup chamber in general.
« on: October 02, 2016, 01:42:04 PM »
I am making a custom built gun from the ground up. I am building a lanchester. I plan on using a pre-made hopup chamber and I was wondering if any particular type was supreme over all? to explain more, is a vsr-10 chamber more stable then a g36 or a m4? I have a preference for the chamber to be round like a vsr-10 chamber but I am capable of machining any chamber down to fit my needs. I have looked at gbbr chambers but I do not know if any of them are worth a damn, I have a G&P WOC and that chamber is rather shitty and not consistent, I am unsure of the other brands out there.

I plan on doing a step by step of my build so everyone can see, I am planning on making it a HPA gun with as strong as a blowback recoil as I can possibly get. I have the HPA engine already designed and drawn up on solid works, I just need to get the tool makers at my job to run it in the cnc lathe. I have also already began machining the receiver. Ill post my working log in a few days. right now Im just looking for info on a hopup chamber.

this is what I desire my gun to look like once completed.

Michigan Commerce - Airsoft Guns Allowed / Free MP5 parts box
« on: September 25, 2016, 12:33:08 PM »
The whole body should be in the box except the butt stock. I bought this gun off eBay with a polarstar engine inside, I didn't want the mp5 body so I tore the gun down to get the polarstar engine. I'm not sure of the brand but the body is metal.

I live in Wayne, 48184. You can come pick it up or I'll drive up to 15 miles for $10. If you want it shipped to you it's going to cost $25.

Is it just me or is the private messaging system on this forum rather horrible? Why do i want to see all my messages in order regardless of who they came from? I got a message yesterday and replied to it, since then i got 4 more message from other people. The first messages responds and i see his message but i also see the 4 other messages mixed in and i have to go digging to find the guys origanal message. When i open a message i should only see the dialog between me and that person not all of my messages with everyone i ever talked to.

Airsoft Events / Unofficial game at phoenix tactical 8-21-16
« on: August 14, 2016, 11:08:00 AM »
Since the game I was hosting at Matrix was postponed due to hornet infestation I still have a super itchy trigger finger and need to get some shooting done. This post is not a officially set up game at phoenix since I have no affiliation with them, I am simply posting to try and get a nice MIA presence out on the field. I know I will be bringing 4 other guys with me right now.

The standard field cost is $20 for the day and open play is noon to 8pm

My group will be there from noon to at least 5.

If your interested post below and lets see who is going.

address in case you guys dont know how to google. 37555 Gratiot Ave, Charter Twp of Clinton, MI 48036

10

Ninja Tank $ 40

The build date is october 2012, the hydro is built with a 5 year hydro. The hydro is good until october 2017, after that you will need to pay about $30 to get a hydro test. The tank is 62 cubic inch 3000 psi. The tank regulator works perfect with no issues or damages.

Ninja regulator $ 75

This regulator works perfectly fine. It adjusts accurately and is consistent shot to shot and works good with full auto. The only thing to look out for is the quick disconnect does not stop the flow of air when disconnected from the gun, not a big deal you just need to turn your tank off before disconnecting the gun. you can use the little black slider to stop the flow too, however the slider is not very good at blocking the flow under ~80psi. above about 80psi it stops the flow good. I just turn the tank off and be done with it.

WE-TECH  1911 With 5 mags *no leaks* $90 (retails for $200 from evike with mags)

The gun is in perfect mint condition, not a single scratch or blemish on it. all 5 mags hold gas and do not leak. The carry case is included. I filled the mags with gas and cycled the gun with 2 mags ( no bbs though, it was pitch black outside and could not check accuracy) the gun fired perfectly and locked back when I stopped holding the slide release. I do not know how much use this gun has had because I forgot to ask my buddy but judging by the mint condition i would guess very little. I will verify the accuracy of the gun a little later today.

I am asking $90 for the gun with all 5 mags.

HFC Dark Hawk glock with 3 mags asking $50 ( retails for $120 for gun + $30 per mag)

the gun has a broken slide, the tab that holds the slide down to the frame in the grove has broken ( see picture) if you can rig something up or purchase a new slide you will have a well working pistol for cheap. I am too lazy to deal with it so im passing the gun on for a low price. Im only asking $50 for the gun with 3 mags and the carry case.

BlackHawk CQC SERPA Holster for sig 220/226 brand new asking $20 (retails for $35)
package is slight squished but holster is in mint condition, never been removed from box.

Unknown brand helmet, asking $30 OBO

I honestly know nothing about helmets, this one fits very nice and it is very solid and has a decent weight to it, it is very padded and comes with a chin strap. I looke don evike for helmets and they look like they retail for about $75 so I reduced the price by 50%, if this is too high let me know and ill lower it. offer my a price. the helmet is in very good condition.

VFC TD distraction device, gas charger $20 (retail is $55)

Face Mask $15

This face mask is in mint condition. it comes with a nice mesh attached to protect your neck and ears. The lens is scratch free. the mask comes with a protective bag.

Vertical grip $5

kings arms speed loader $10

M203 launcher asking $50

it is quick disconnect barrel mounted, it seems to function properly but I cant say for sure since I have no grenades to test it. The paint is a little messed too.

Well I have finally put everything on here. all prices are OBO, somethings I simply do not know what they are worth ( mostly the gear) so I took my best guess and offering a really good deal. if my prices are stupid or dont fit the item, let me know and ill change them. I am selling everything very cheap as im just trying to off load everything and make by my money plus a little extra pocket change. I will offer discounts if you purchase multiple items. I will ship stuff if need be but I strongly prefer to meet up, I live in wayne, 48184. I am willing to drive up to a half hour in any direction.

unfortunately we will be forced to postpone the game for at least a few weeks. This is for everyones safety, greg (the owner) went out to the field a few days ago and discovered that the ground is infested with hornets nests through out the field. for the last few days he has attempted to remedy the problem by himself and made a little headway but it will not be enough to keep everyone safe during the game, greg does not want to risk anyones health over a game.

This news is terrible for us as this would of been our largest attended game to date and we wish we could avoid canceling it but it is just not worth the risk of hurting someone.

Greg will be getting the issue sorted out as soon as possible and once the field is safe for us to resume gameplay we will set a new date. Greg has been on the phone all day with exterminators and getting quotes. The exterminators said that the hornets are making nests in the ground this year due to the extreme dryness we have been having. The good news is that if greg is unable to get rid of them on his own, the hornets will naturally leave the area as the cold weather comes around the end of september. so that is the latest we can expect a game. with luck we will get one much sooner then that.

Again we regret to postpone the game but it is in the interest of safety and that always comes first at matrix.

I have a extra gen 3 version 2 polarstar fussion engine that I would like to put into. I do not want a m4 or any gun that is super common like a ak. I am looking for something that you dont see every day. I sent a mesage to someone on here about there agm stg44 but they have not replied back so if your that guy then reply damn you.

Idealy I would like to stay under 200 for the gun. The gun does not need to have a gearbox but i would like a gun that is in good shape.

Let me know what you have.

Airsoft Discussion / Polarstar Shot delayer for DMR
« on: February 19, 2016, 06:31:28 PM »
I am currently making a small circuit that will add a delay between shots. You will keep all of your normal settings on FCU. My circuit will plug in between the FCU and the P* engine itself. The circuit will have a 3 position toggle to decide if you want a 1 second, 3 second, or 5 second delay between shots. The gun will be unable to fire even if the trigger is pushed until the delay time is up. ( you can hold the trigger and wait for the delay to end, but not necessary).

I am designing this with the DMR market in mind. The P* makes the perfect platform for DMR or sniping but in its current state it is unusable due to the high rate of fire even in semi. My idea is to allow P* users to go above the commonly used limit of 1.44J but following the same guild lines as bolt action sniper rifles have. I feel if a P* has a 5 second delay between shots then there is no reason they should not be allowed to shoot at the max of 540 FPS.

I dont have any specific FPS work out for the delays times. I would think that a 1 second delay could shoot around 440 FPS, a 3 second delay could fire around 500 FPS and 5 seconds can push the max of 550. ( all FPS need to be worked out into actual energy with .2 and converted to the P* users weight bb to make it even, similar to the current 1.44J max)

I know with my bolt action rifle (550 fps) I can fire faster then 1 round per 5 seconds so I dont see a issue here with a P* doing the same thing. So I would like to know what the communities thoughts are on this. Does anyone see any issues with allowing the P* to fire at a higher velocity if the time between shots is long enough to keep things fair and safe?

As for price I am thinking I can sell them for $25-30 and still make it worth my time and effort. I am a senior in college with my major being Electrical Engineering so I do actually know how to make this circuit. It will look pretty professional but will be hand soldered instead of machine made. The circuit will require no changes to your gun or settings. the circuit works by making it impossible for the trigger signal to pass to the engine until the delay is up.

Also if you think the delay times need tweaking I can change them to pretty much anything you want.

Let me know what your feelings are on this.
