Title: Blank Guns
Post by: T6e9a on September 28, 2017, 11:49:05 PM
So in working at Commandos in Roseville, and having blank guns for sale there, I am rather clueless when it comes to them. I have been curious what local laws and restrictions might be on them. I always get asked, and haven't been able to give a clear answer. I know you need to be 21+ to purchase, but that's mostly the extent.

Anyone here have any experience or input on the subject?

Strangely enough that's not something I've dug into. But if no one else gives good info I'll do some looking when I'm back home and get some info for you.

Take care

Luke

If I recall correctly Blank guns are treated similar to black powder firearms in the State of Michigan. You need to be 18 to buy them online (retail unsure), They dont require registration or background checks, but if you're caught carrying one then it can be a felony firearms charge for carrying a concealed weapon.
