Presents
Third annual MIA Field Day at Action Paintball (Formerly known as No Limits Park) in Taylor on Sunday,July 19th

We will be having a raffle again this year as well as a pre-game swap meet.

Gates will open at 9:00am

Swap Meet from 9-11:00 am

Trigger Time starting at: 11:20 AM. Please note, if you haven't chronoed by 11:10, you will have to wait until after the first game is started. We're done waiting for people.

Players are welcome to stage and chrono during the swap meet, but they will be in separate areas. We will be limiting access to the staging area to players who have registered for the game.

Event ends at 6:00pm

This event is being held on a Sunday so we can have the entire field without paintballers.

Cost: $20.00
FPS: MIA standards.
We are going to be enforcing a 1.55j energy limit on all polarstars and a top FPS of 540 for semi only firing replicas.

Eye Protection: Full seal goggles are required. NO GOGGLES, NO SHOOTING, NO EXCEPTIONS. Mesh goggles are NOT allowed.
You must sign a waiver. If you are under 18, your parent or guardian must sign the waiver as well. Waivers will be provided.
Here is a direct link to their waiver, so you can print it out ahead of time.
http://www.actionpb.com/waiver.html (http://www.actionpb.com/waiver.html)

There will be no ammo restrictions or player caps as it is a rec game.

Action Paintball (No limits) Rules:
Barrel condoms are required in the safe zone. These are available at most sporting goods stores or you can rent or purchase them at the field. Covers cannot be homemade.
Anyone between 12-14 years old must come with an adult.

Full face masks, balaclavas, lower half mesh face protection or something along those lines are required at no limits for everyone attending due to their new insurance. They are pretty laid back about this but just make an effort especially in the safe zone.
Players 14 and under must wear full face protection/paintball masks at all times.

Things to remember:
Bring bug spray.
Bring a barrel condom.
Bring extra socks (even if it isn't raining).

Location: Taylor, MI
Eureka Rd and Lange St. (just North of Eureka on Lange)

Tents and Canopies are welcome to be set up in the staging area.
Action Paintball is now going to be stocking airsoft gear, so BBs, green gas and other small items will be made available at the field.
There will be a generator available, so charging stations can be set up.
No Limits will be offering $1 slices of pizza at lunch time.
The field owners will be asking if people want pizza when you sign in. You won't have to pay right then, it's just to get a head count so they can order enough.

On a Sunday!?! That's too perfect to pass up, since I don't usually work that day.

80% chance I'll be there, I have to field my new Tavor!

@flameresistant which team will you be on?

Roster updated.

Sorry about the delay, I've been unbelievably busy with work.

I'm working on what I think will be a very cool long playing full field game for this event.  Hopefully everyone will dig it and we can start incorporating it in to our normal REC games.

Always love the field days you hosted in Taylor, but I am pretty sure my cousin's wedding is the day before and who knows if I will even get back home before Monday (Have to travel and stay in hotel and no one tells me a darn thing about details).

Anyways, hope the weather turns out nice, way too much rain lately.

Just found out I'll only be able to attend the swap meet. My +2 normally run green if you want to team up with them.

Well I hope this turns out to be as good if not better than the last one, looks like it'll be my last bb warz in Michigan. Any chance somebody would be willing to let me mooch propane off of them for my pistol mags and 203 shells?

I haven't made a single No Limits game yet this year due to some traveling and working unpredictable hours. Now that all that nonsense is over, I'm finally able to get to a game and shall make myself present for shenanigans. Grey Fox and other SFOD are sure to be accompanying me as well!

Just the surplus of spindles and the newish riser in the castle.

They're still working on redoing the Urban area.

Ill be there +1-3. Do you know when during the day the raffle will be?

It'll be after lunch. I'm guessing around 3ish.

I've been to a few events where there are serious posers or valor thieves, and I understand it is serious disrespect. This will be the first airsoft event ever for a few of my +1s and they know to be respectful. They know better than to claim false military membership. With this in mind, can I expect them to be verbally harassed or asked to leave if they borrow and wear a family member's old uniform with rank and unit patches?

It's the only uniform they can get a hold of. If they aren't able to then they have to wear civi crap.

Me + 3 attending.

P.S. The format for the waiver is kinda messed up, I had to use a plotter at work to fit it all on one sheet of paper.

I don't know about unit patches but if you wear a tank patch that you didn't earn you are begging for trouble.

I don't understand why people think there's exceptions to this: If you didn't earn it, you don't wear it.

This is my feeling on the subject.

When a 12 year old kid comes to an event wearing surplus or family borrowed bdus and has rank, it's pretty obvious that they are not trying to portray themselves as a service member. Hell, I remember being a young kid playing army with my buddies wearing the bdus my uncle gave me from his service in the Air Force.  I wouldn't expect someone to take patches off their family's clothing unless they were going to be keeping them, but players who purchase surplus gear that has rank/branch/unit patches on them, should remove those out of respect for the men and women who have served. These types of players should be POLITELY reminded that it's very frowned upon to wear something you personally haven't earned. If someone is going to be an all out asshole to a little kid wearing his dad's or grampa's bdus, that person can leave and not come back. There's no excuse for being a belligerent dick to someone for a simple mistake.

Now, what I do take issue with and will warrant a change or leave conversation are these players who INTENTIONALLY wear rank/unit/tabs and try to be a hard ass.

There was a player a few games ago who was all decked out in his Ranger gear ( including tabs and rank) trying to play off like he was a bad ass. Before I could say something, he must have over heard former service members saying something about it, and left.

If you're a younger player and all you have access to is a family members bdu with rank, you're not going to get picked on or harassed. Someone may say something, politely explain the situation, and everything should be cool. If they continue to give you a hard time, come see one of the hosts/refs.

If it's surplus gear you just bought, come see one of us, we can help you take it off without ruining anything.

If you show up wearing a ranger tab and SSGT rank, I guarantee, you're going to have a bad day.

Did anybody find a pistol magazine with multi-colored (mostly bright orange) BBs inside? I was keeping my sidearm in an unfamiliar holster and the clip release was engaged during play. Thanks in advance!
