Time to let go of some NATO stuff for more... Ruskie stuff. Message me for more info and for pics. Can meet at Motor City airsoft. Sorry that these guns don't work right off the bat, they were projects that I doubt I will get around too.

Guns:

-FN/soft air P90: comes with 3 mid caps. Problems: orange flash hider is loose and the gear box is locked up. $40

-JG (?) M4: took this bad boy to Homeland in 2015. Has a mad bull red bucking and shimmed by T6 himself. Comes with a foamed filled silencer (screw on over the flash hider), fake PEQ box (holds battery), front grip, G&G laser box with pressure pad, scope. Problem: loose wire so it doesn't fire. The gun will come with everything. $125

-Echo 1 M249 para: great little gun. But has some problems... Missing the top forward rail but the battery still stays inside the gun. Missing the front sight (but who needs to aim with a SAW?) but I will give a holo sight if you want. the electric auto wind ammo box has some problems, doesn't always feeds, could be a loose wire but still feeds M4 mags no problem. The gun doesn't fire but yet again, more wiring problems. $180

Gear:

-CB plate carrier. Has a built in single point sling. $40

What I'm looking for...

-Cash.

-Russian gear... K6-3 helmet, defender body armor. I'm open to anything. Trying to grow my collection.

-Russian weapons. No AK74u, VSS or SVD. Would love a under folding stock AK.

-Glock or Makarov pistol. Extra mags and holster would be great.

Off Topic / How to improve my Airsoft videos?
« on: December 29, 2016, 04:07:24 PM »
I have been doing Airsoft videos for a while now. Attach a camera to my head, run around, shoot people, edit the video just for the kill shots. Toss in some music because I doubt people wants to hear my voice non stop. Simple right?

Problem.

My videos doesn't seem like they catch that much attention on YouTube. My videos just seem to plain. Below is my last video I did. I use Windows Movie maker to edit my videos. It's free and you can't beat free. Does anyone have ideas to make my videos more interesting to watch? Seems like a lot of people love the sniper cam which is pretty cool. I do have a VSS which I can mod with one of those cameras but I mostly play inside. Is there some software, either free or super cheap to add more flavor to my videos?

Michigan Commerce - Airsoft Guns Allowed / WTS/WTT guns, Russian gear
« on: August 10, 2016, 11:34:34 AM »
Need to thin out the weapons I don't use anymore. F2f would be great, I live in Desrborn.

-A&K M60
The metal beast that is the old Vietnam era M60. Comes with a brand new auto winding box. What is a auto winding box? In short, you don't have to press any buttons to loan ammo into the gun on the box mag like most box mags. The box mag is brand new. Comes with a Mad Bull 6.03 tight bore barrel. Only problem with the gun is that it doesn't fire. The box mag works but not the gun. To be honest, I bet I didn't attach a wire when I did something with the gearbox. Think I did some upgrades in the gearbox but I did that years ago and I forgot. My loss is your gain I guess. $225

Im open for any Russian weapons. AK47s, TT33s, if it's Russian, I will listen to your offer. No VSS, already have one. No AK74 with wooden stock, already have one. No SVDs either.  If there's wood on it. It must be real wood. No fake wood. Always looking for Russian gear like Smershes (SVD, RPK, PKM) and K6 helmets. Also looking for King Arms SVD mid caps or high caps.

Airsoft Discussion / Military training guides (pdf links given)
« on: March 30, 2016, 07:41:32 PM »
Here's some military manuals (PDFs) I found online. Many are older and outdated but the basic information is still useful that can be applied to Airsoft. Either for the back yard to milsims. I will be updating this thread with new PDFs that I find that would be useful.

Urban combat:

http://www.bits.de/NRANEU/others/amd-us-archive/FM90-10-1Pt1C1(95).pdf

Combat focus:

http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/library/policy/army/fm/7-1/fm7-1.pdf

Sniper training:

http://militarynewbie.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/TC-23-14-Sniper-Training-Employment.pdf

Mostly how to shoot sniper rifles but some good information on ghillie suits and how to hide.

Non U.S tactics, still in English:

https://fas.org/irp/doddir/army/fm100-2-1.pdf

Good one for the Soviet and Russian players. The 'play book' for the Soviets if there was an attack on Europe during the 80s. Made by the U.S military.

Misc:

http://www.survivalebooks.com/usmilitarymanuals.html

500 manuals and training guides from the 50s to 90s. Ranging from camouflage during Vietnam war to how to work an M60 machine gun.

Airsoft Discussion / Painting guns
« on: September 08, 2015, 11:08:41 PM »
For painting an airsoft gun, which brands of paint would be the best? I'm getting a fake wood M14 and I don't like how the fake wood looks like. I doubt my model paints will work on this let alone stand up to the abuse of playing in the field.

Due to I'm just painting the fake wood and not the metal, can I just unscrew a few body screws and slide off the plastic without to much work?

Airsoft Discussion / 'Riot' shields and MiA
« on: August 17, 2015, 08:58:47 AM »
What's everyone's feelings towards using riot/ballistic shields for airsoft? Are there any rules for the MIA games?

I was offered by a welder friend for him to make me a full size Russian VM Fort shield for much much less than the ones online. Great addition to my Russian kit but at the same time, I don't feel like spending the money then finding out I can't use them or if this is super shunned among the MIA people.

Airsoft Discussion / Bang kills
« on: August 15, 2015, 07:32:14 PM »
I was at an indoor field today and there was the whole bang kill special rule in effect. On paper its a good idea. Don't want to come up from someone from behind and shoot them point blank. But that's on paper. Meanwhile in the field, it was annoying. I would stick the barrel from around  the corner a few inches then someone yells bang. I would be dead. Happened over and over again. Wouldn't even see my body and just call bang on me. I was so annoyed that I honestly just started to say bang every time I went around a corner for two games. The thing that really annoyed me was that you can bang people up to six feet away. Not arms length but just run into a room and yell bang and you kill five people.

In one game, I was next to someone in a window about a two feet long by foot high. The kid next to me was on the left and I was on the right. Someone came up, yelled bang while pointing the gun at the kid on the left. Didn't notice me, I pop up, shot the banger in the face. He gets pissy because even though he didn't notice me till I shot him, he said bang and that meant everyone within six feet is dead. Never pointed the gun at me. Whatever.

Rants over. Now it's your turn to talk about your feelings towards bang kills.

Airsoft Discussion / Trends in airsoft
« on: August 12, 2015, 09:28:49 AM »
I don't know if it's just me but it seems like Russian load outs are now getting more and more popular among airsoft players in the past year. Am I the only one to notice this or am I over thinking?

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with having a Russian load out. Honesty it's your money and you can do what you want and I also have a Russian load out for those hot days. My point is, why is the Russian load outs getting more and more popular? Is it because of this following online getting more and more popular for Russian military items in general? Is it all of the modern shooters with Russians that people play? Or could it be like me that I started a load out because I like the gear? Or is it something else?

multicam. I have been playing with the MIA crowd for around 2 years now, before the Russian invasion. When I first started with MiA, I noticed something that I could be wrong. To be short to the point, people with multicam spend the most money, over all on their gear I.e guns, ammo pouches, helmets, etc vs most people with green camouflage. Seems like most (80%) people on the green side are not the 'hardcore' players, just people who only care about shooting people in the face, not all the fancy gear they can buy. Then the tan team seems more along the lines of just spending their money on the gear because they want to look cool while shooting people in the face. Just like the Russian gear, I have a multicam set and I play among the tan because at first, it felt weird playing with kids next to me when I was on green side then I switched to be tan to be with the adults. Has this always been like this, the multicam crowd spending a bunch of money on their gear?

The future: what's next cool thing for airsoft? There will be more polar stars than aegs? Green gas/propane powered main weapons vs battery powered main weapons? Switching to WWII gear?

Just trying to pick at everyone's brain.

GAS / Foam foot balls vs foam balls vs rubber caps
« on: July 11, 2015, 04:50:52 PM »
I'm planning to go to MUTC in a few months, going to be tons of fun but there's going to be a lot of enemy AFVs on both sides, with this in mind, I want to arm up with some anti tank weapons. Long story short, it looks like an under slung grenade launcher will be easier to lug around and most cost effective. I'm going to have a GP-30 grenade launcher so the barrel is a tad short. My question is what would be the best ammo to use? Rubber caps or foam balls or foam footballs if they can even fit.
