Canto, as always, great to see you sir. Thank you for the interesting game play.

Tactics were thrown out the window as soon as we got on the North Ridge. One way on and off that that we were less likely to get soaked as a nasty choke point all day.

It was noted that if it was just as wet but a bit warmer, it would have made for a more accurate scenario.

Despite the terrain and the weather, I had fun with the frustration. The field and water literally drained the strength from everyone even more with brave souls that rode the day out.

Green team with Hunter and other Flak members (who were supposed to be with me on Tan ) drove a hard fight. Tan team, radio communication was better than most events so thank you.

All in all, everyone did what they could and I could not ask for much more. It was nice to see females players come out and play. We do not see a lot of that. The East Lansing team that came out, nice to see you lady and gentlemen again. A lot of new and old faces out there which is always nice to see. Tim, I missed you leaving after lunch knowing that both your weapons went down.

I hope to see you all down range again in July with the Extreme Prejudice guys.

When you start promising cash prizes, people tend to look at ways to "bend" the rules. And a special laser tag like vest? Looks like COD meets Airsoft and is doomed. I spent enough money on my Plate Carrier and with this, it would change my loadout completely.

By the lack of website outside of the front page, we will see if something becomes of it.

Good luck to them and hope they can make something out of it. It is a bit far for me.

Canto, as always it was fun even as a Ref.

The SABR guys had fun and as a FLAK teammate, you never have to worry about me not helping. Running a field is not new to me.

The new game types were interesting. It was interesting that the Experienced teams liked the quick and fast version of Armed Down Pilot where the other players like the slower version.

The biggest problem I ran across was not knowing who was on your team for the mixed games and the players that had opposite camo patterns than their buddies.  It was a REC game so no big deal to me.

I will say that as a veteran of Firestorm, this was one of the best times I have had. Green time was fierce all day with prolonged firefights, hard charges, and just moving all day. It made it challenging and fun all day.

Tan team, you guys and gals made it a blast to run with. I was able to assign missions and let you loose. Comms were horrible all day but we made it work. Special shout out to the Extreme Prejudice guys, Hawkeye, Hondo, Tiny Tim, the SABR guys, you worked hard all day. I am sorry I did not get everyone's name but this was one of the best teams I had the privilege to command. 

-The Good, the Bad, And the Ugly.-

Good - Great work on both sides. The weather stated fair all day. Both teams gave it their all and I could not ask for anything more. Great sportmanship on both sides. Their was a few incidents but that it normal and they were ironed out quickly.

Bad - The wind was strong at a few points during the day making it hard to shoot great distances.

Ugly - Radio Equipment. My Baofeng was being a pain and it seemed like most had issues with their GMRS radios as well. Either dying and no one saying anything or just not being able to get to anyone.

Again, great time!
