WTS Asahi Bushmaster (Classic Airsoft Rifle)
« on: February 13, 2016, 02:40:35 AM »
Hey Fella's. It's time for me to save up for school and some things just got to go. I've decided to sell my Asahi Bushmaster. For those of you who don't know Asahi was a pioneering airsoft company back in the day and they produced airsoft guns in japan from the mid to late 1980's until 1995 when the recession kicked japans ass.

The Asahi Bushmaster works using the "BV system" which uses air pressure built up in the barrel to fire the BB.

While these guns can be touchy, they are also extremely fun to use, and still skirmishable. Some were equipped with an offset cut barrel called an LRB which is a sort of fixed hop-up. Some guns using an LRB can achieve over 300 feet of effective accuracy all while remaining below 380 fps at the muzzle.

The gun takes a proprietary air fed magazine which uses air pressure from the internal valve to force the bb's into the guns sub-chamber. The advantages are no springs to wear down, and an entire magazine is always fed. The downside is the weight of the mag, low capacity, and the fact that none have been made in over 20 years.

This gun is equipped with an LRB, and will include a 100 round magazine. Extras can be purchased .

These guns require a very precise setup and require that everything work in sync with each other (this includes the bb AND weight)

Because of the amount of time needed to tune these guns BEWARE.

Here is a list of things you'll need.

HPA or Co2 setup that is dual regulated for a low pressure system.

at least a .28g bb.

Metric allen screws and some O-rings. (you'll need them some day, I'll include some rings)

More about the gun

This gun can match/exceed an AEG in terms of range using a .28g bb, HOWEVER the ROF is much too high to be considered practical, In order to lower the ROF the pressure must be lowered, however I've tried that and it's just not cycling properly. This gun WILL need a stiffer spring. LRB's tend to function better with less air in them so a lower ROF will likely boost range too. If you don't have a spring you can use a heavier bb at the loss of range.

This gun will come with the sight rail pictured but NOT the scope.

This gun will NOT come with a QD fitting.

This gun WILL come with my tech help.

Asking 550 shipped, paypal'd. Thanks for your time.
