After Action Reports / Re: Lost & Found
« on: August 04, 2016, 09:22:24 PM »
Sorry on this being late, but back at OP Judgement, Day 1 I lost a replica EOTECH that has 2 AAA rechargeable Duracell batteries powering it on the inside. Also lost was a CQB Master High Speed can. The adapter is still attached to the threads of my M4 so the only thing I'm missing is the rest of the can. I don't expect to see them come up on the field though until this coming fall.

I'm sorry to say this as I see how the teams are starting to weigh out, but strike everyone I said I would be bringing along. I might have different people that will come for the event, but I'm waiting for conformation and if we do we'll likely be paying day of.

Hey Canto I got another small bout of questions. My first relates to camping and was wondering if like there will be camping available between the 16th and the 17th? Also if I was to bring my little brother of 15 would he be allowed to do any camping or must a parent/ guardian above 18 be present? Put me down plus nine all on the Islamic state side. I'll update you if anything should change.

Thanks have a nice day.

Okay then. Thanks for the suggestion Gimp. I'll have to put that on the wish list. Hopefully my bank account will let me get it before Judgement day in July, but I'm sure I'll be good. Thanks again.

No it doesn't seem so. It looks like they had it stitched in at the back. I've been looking at possible ways to add real estate to the cummerbund area. It's just a one big thing of elastic material at the moment. I can get pics in awhile, but if you want a reference to what I'm talking about these are links to the actual products from the retailers I could find selling them.

Also sorry it took long for the reply. Just started myself a new job and I'm having issues with Dell about something else.

Clothing & Load Bearing Gear / Flyye Streamline
« on: March 08, 2016, 08:49:35 AM »
Hey guy long time no... well see doesn't really fit, but anyways not on topic. Recently I purchased a Flyye Industries Streamline, as Airsoftmegastore calls the pc, and was wondering if anyone has experience switching at the cummerbund for one with MOLLE weaving. Everything I look into it always comes up with sales of pc's that have cummerbunds or something completely off topic. If anyone can help me out in my endeavor I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't read anywhere in the rules, so I'm going to assume my question is answered, but will gun models be restricted to what side you are on? For example M4 variants for the Paramilitary and Ak variants for the Islamic state only. Again I don't read this in the rules and I can't remember if it is a field rule either, but are we restricted to Bio bb's only? Sorry Canto haven't been around in awhile so I've slipped on the rules of different fields. I'll make a side decision when I get those answers. Thanks have an nice day.

Airsoft Discussion / Re: Bang kills
« on: August 15, 2015, 08:54:21 PM »
Bang kills are the "lazy mans" surrender rule and for speedsofters. In my opinion. Really I feel all places should use a surrender rule. My reasons being:
1.) No one in real life turns the corner and says bang. Their gun might, but not themselves.
2.) Surrender rules, like in real life, are optional, and also like in real life, usually means someone has the upped hand.
3.) The rule doesn't even dictate whom you are addressing when it is played. If I turned a corner with three guys around it and said bang once, I'm sure one of the guys would assume that he wasn't banged and shot.

Most videos I have seen that involve the bang rule are CQB games and often have the camera man/women getting angry with a player who did not "take" the hit, or vice versa. Really would you expect them to? Surrender rule the golden rule.

Airsoft Discussion / Excalibur Paintball
« on: August 15, 2015, 09:22:29 AM »
While searching around one day for Ninja Air tank retailers I noticed Excalibur Paintball was on the list and like 10 minutes away. So I went to their website and notice that they have Airsoft events at least once a month. I was wondering if anyone had experience at the field when it comes to airsoft. Thanks have a nice day.

Off Topic / Time to play in the Military
« on: July 26, 2015, 10:45:26 PM »
A topic of sorts came to my attention today on Facebook while someone was trying to sell off their M27. People were saying he would have time to play while in the military, this person happened to be going to basic, and that got me thinking how much time do military personal truly have for other activities. If any one in the military, past or present, could give me a rough estimate on the idea that would be appreciated. If it helps with the estimate I plan on going into the Army's Military Police, I know all branches have a police force, but army is where I want to go. Thanks for any estimates you can give me and have a nice day.

GAS / Re: New GBB Pistol Recommendations?
« on: July 22, 2015, 12:21:17 AM »
I know KWA is the go to brand for GBB pistols and they've earned it. I however would recommend KJW 1911's. More specifically the KP-05 or regular 1911. Both are really good pistols that come stock with a red nozzle to use CO2 magazines, if you wish, and run at about $120 each. Know if you want a Glock styled pistol the ECHO 1 Timberwolf is the way to go. On ECHO 1's site it runs at about $145. Sure you can fine WE-TECH Glocks, but they aren't really legal in the U.S. do to licensing, as far as I know I could be wrong. The M22 supposedly supposed to be like a Glock, according to Evike as well. Those run as high as $110. In order of top recommendation I would put the KP05 at one, Timberwolf at two, and the regular 1911 third. Hopefully this helps you out in your decision for a new sidearm.
