Tech Questions / Re: Mid-Cap feeding problem, need help
« on: July 24, 2015, 10:50:51 PM »
BAMF mags have a nice internals set up for maintenance. Meaning it easier to disassemble/assemble. Than most mid caps.
I would start with "breaking in" the mags, filling fully and emptying. And go from there.

Another question, is the gun bone stock? Or is the nozzle different by any chance, or a new barrel/bucking? Small things in the hop up area can make big differences.

Ill be at no limits. Could you bring the shotgun? I'll buy it.

Tech Questions / Re: Paintball e-trigger in an airsoft gun
« on: July 12, 2015, 11:13:22 PM »
It would be possible to shorten a Tavors trigger pull, as well as add features, but it would come with buying microswitches and adjusting the exsistibg trigger mech, and getting a wired in fet, such as a Gate Merf3.2 or something.

I'm not sure what an E-trigger does exactly for paintball, but I would assume its something like a hair trigger, which for that sort of performance is possibly, but you definitely picked a trickey platform for it.

AEG / Re: Rhop my experiences thus far

If I had the bbs, I definitely would test them. But I would want to have access to longer range for testing than the 110' of my driveway.
It'll be putting heavy bbs on the 'to trade for' list or wish list. I'll be open to brand suggestions.

Interesting info.

I've had some minimal experience with R-hops as well.
I am currently testing my latest install in my M4 AEG.
It currently(with R-hop) shoots around 500 FPS with .20s. And so far, I've only ya a chance to test it with .28s. And as my driveway only allows for a max of 110', I couldn't test much. But whati was getting, was very accurate, and was able to hit my 10" diameter metal dish consistently.
I was able to get better results at a game. Which turned out that after 120'-140' the .28 just flew all over like .20s in a stock gun.

I'm going to try some .30s and .36s when I can, and heavier if I can get my hands on some.

Going to keep trying some installs when I have time. Eventually try to have all my guns R-hopped. I'll also be able to give input on how they respond/work with high speed builds, as well as somewhat restricted volume builds. (Those will probably be .20-.25 testing).

Might be a while, but I can throw my results in here as well.

Tech Questions / Re: Should I flat hop?
« on: April 23, 2015, 04:16:52 AM »
Flat hopping is definitely one of the easier hop up modifications.
It's a good mod to start out with, and if you ever end up R-hopping, your bucking will already be good for it.

I have had minimal experience with moundless buckings, and what I have played with, wasnt all too great. Fitment and airseal issues. Was with some grey bucking, I don't remember the brand.

I've found great success with G&G green buckings.

I would say it's performance is better than stock(I'm sure many others will agree), so it is worth doing.
And I wouldn't bother with premade nubs either; pink eraser works just fine with a little bit of custom fitting.
