For sale today is a working condition M249 gearbox. (needs some TLC though).

Information: I bought an M249 from a member on here as a project gun. The gun had some serious magazine issues so I converted it to a Daytonagun build.

The gearbox has some soldering that needs to be done on the external wires, and perhaps Re-done at the tamiya connectors.

This gearbox saw limited use while in my possession. because I don't know how it was treated before I got it, please consider this gearbox a project.

I imagine this being a great backup gearbox for any heavy gunner. you know and I know breakdowns are common.

No not possible. Paintball E-triggers use either a large "sear tripping" solenoid or a small air powered solenoid which opens and closes the valve. Airsoft triggers work like light switches and complete a circuit to allow the gun to fire.

Welcome! You're never too old to have fun. While it is true a lot of airsoters are relatively young its not an uncommon sight to see older guys around.

My only advice is keep your rig simple and affordable. I started playing when I was 12 and at age 16 I began buying all sorts of gear thinking it was going to work good. I probably spent close to 500$ on tactical gear alone and I hardly use it. I made the mistake of being sucked into the "tacticool" crowd for a short time and I regret it.

I wont know until late june but myself and perhaps a few more would love to join.
