Picked up the lot of VN midcaps he had. Dropped a couple bucks as he couldn't find one. Great communications, nice guy. Would do business with again.

With how 400rd high caps work, you wouldn't really be able to consistently get 20rds. Ideally for the application, a magazine with an extended follower would be ideal as you can load the exact number of rounds and it will feed every one, none wasted.

And probably the people that run the closest to "real caps" are those that run GBBRs. And are generally Milsim oriented, but not always.

I do like how ammo and magazine limits make you think about ammo conservation and thinking through your shots. Makes for a more unique play experience, but generally the closest you get are games that require midcap magazines.

Bullgear 249 units are a must have upgrade as the stock units are garbage by design out of the box.

As for what barrels and buckings they like, I can't help there as I have had little personal experience with the units.

Bump. Small update. Still slowly adding more pics/prices for items.

Are the VN magazines midcaps?

Worth scrounging around the "Retailer Reviews & Discussions" section, primarily linked back to the old forum, where you will find more on them.

Bump, update in progress.

I can't stop singing praise on the Avalons, especially since I just had the chance to work on one the other day, purely for FPS tuning and deans. Avalon compared to older VFC and even Krytac, are just so much more worth it.

Quick change spring guide, basic mosfet, Neodymium magnet motor, VFC gearbox (which are more receptive to internal upgrades with much less hassle than Krytac, and plenty durable), amazing shot to shot consistency, comfortable and convenient QRS furniture (I love the stock), and all around general VFC external build quality.

All of this speaks "out of the box" and plug in a battery and it shows you it can perform.
