Its nice that the mags are cross compatible between the ARP9 and the X9. But yeah, stock battery space on the ARP sucks, and isn't much better with the extension. Hence why I immediately started playing around with the other stock options I had, and settled on the stubby full stock.

True, the ARP isn't as friendcly when it comes to spring changes, but that's not really a make or break for me.

Still have yet to run it, but I'm using it in place of my originr MP5 build with the same intent. The platform just seems more comfortable and serviceable. And I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with G&Gs newer compression systems/components.

Not sure if anyone saw this yet, but definitely some source material and other ideas to think about.

Depends on which "serious milsim". Most require enough kit/camo to be the right color scheme to the team you are on.

As for MSW, (I have never been, just stating my understanding thus far) they do require or strongly recommend/suggest fairly accurate impressions kits for the side you are on, which era/time period isn't as important as just being able to be recognized as said unit on the field.

The difference is just the size of the grip. 17 is full size, 19 is compact. The 19 can take full size mags, as well as extended. All just a matter of preference.
