MTU Houghton - Spring Game
« on: March 30, 2016, 07:21:49 PM »
LOCATION: MTU Houghton MI or north of there

COST: $20 for non MTU players

WHEN: April 16th 9AM EST

MAP: Coming soon

EVENT DESCRIPTION: See below

CONTACT INFO: https://www.facebook.com/events/1540579612905075/

This is an unofficial event IE the details haven't been firmed up yet. Also this isn't linked to the official event since it hasn't been posted yet.

So this is more of an hey this is coming up and if your interested tell me here and Ryan can keep track here as well as his numbers once it's posted.

Details, it will either be held at the normal location for MTU ops which is a mix of woodland and urban or it will be held at the coolest location we've ever seen in the UP. That is an abandoned radio station up north of Houghton. It's up in the air at this point which location it will be.

So far though rules will be pretty much standard, though Bio BB's are required so if your planning on being there please bring Bio BB's in the weight you need for the game. Depending on how things go I might have extra by then but I'm not making garuntee's if I do it's only going to be .25g so plan ahead to cover yourself.

I'll edit this according to the information as it becomes available. At this point despite it saying I'm going since I'm creating the event I'm in the maybe category, have to firm up my own plans etc and see how things come together.

Abuse of Rules: Knowling abusing or taking advantage of a rule or loophole may be subject to punitive actions. In general: if you find yourself thinking that something is “technically” legal you probably shouldn’t do it.

Yelling/Shouting: Yelling and/or shouting at players is considered to be bad sportsmanship. If it happens in excess referees or event organizers may take punitive actions. If a player breaking the rules is in question please go to an event organizer or referee and refrain from escalating the situation yourself.

Event Grounds: The grounds that event is taking place on is not the property of the Airsoft Association or Michigan Technological University. It is expected that every player treat it with respect. Any intentional damage or accidental damage to an extreme extent may be subject for removal and reimbursement payment to the landowner(s). Players are also expected to dispose of any trash that they create and not dirty the ground. Trash bags will be supplied.

Personal Property: Handling another player’s personal property without their express consent is grounds for punitive action. When in doubt ask the owner.
