Title: VFC MK17 Magwell Problem
Post by: Monk on November 04, 2015, 10:52:42 PM
I'm away at college so I can't tinker with my guns as much as I would like. So, I was wondering if anyone has had problems with their VFC midcaps fitting pretty tight inside their VFC MK17 and what they did to fix it? Any help would be appreciated.

How long have you had it? I remember mine just loosening up with time because of the polymer lower.

The gun is pretty new but it just seems too tight for a magwell that needs to "breakin". Then again you may be right, only time will telll that.

I've had 5 Scar-H's over the years and the mag wells have all varied in retention. It is mostly due to variations in gun batches. If you really want to open it up a little bit, you could always try inserting a mag and then lightly heating up the mag well with a heat gun. It should loosen up the moulding.
