Drum Mag in a M249 Saw Magwell (MK 46)
« on: April 24, 2016, 11:49:16 AM »
Hi

I was wondering if anyone as ever tried putting a drum mag in their m249 saw via the magwell. I want to try to do this,
With specifically this mag

Box mags are aweful, and I want to use this as a replacement. Will it work?
Thanks.

Honestly I don't see it working very well, but if somebody would like to send me a drum mag I'll be willing to try it out for you haha. From what I've heard and read the SAWs are hit and miss with how well they feed mags. And I imagine that distribution of weight would be a little awkward.

That wouldn't feed all the BBs based on the angle it would sit at. This is truly the best option
