I think some of the Krytac are actually on sale now at Evike.  I'm trying to decide if I want to keep buying cheap guns, or buy a nice Krytac.  Buy once cry once right?

I'm not completely sure if this is the right sub for this. (Mods if it isn't feel free to move it)

So I'm not a large fan of Facebook never have been. Too many layout changes for me to get used to.  But I would really appreciate if the gear sales would migrate here.  No matter how often I check,  I always miss a gear for sale post .  Facebook randomly shuffles posts around making it hard to double back and contact the seller.
Just a thought I had while frustrated I had missed a item by two days.

GAS / Western Arms GBBR Questions.
« on: October 06, 2016, 02:17:18 PM »
So I recently purchased a WA M4 Gbbr. I was wondering if this GBBR even be worth skirmishing?  I read they require regular maintenance, which is fine with me. But I know the internals will eventually beat themselves to dust.  Is it worthwhile to bother upgrading it.  Or should I suck it up and leave it as a nice wall hanger? I know I should have done more research,  but it was such a deal.

Wow,  that sounds great.  A leather patch won't really wear out and lose its color.  Would definitely be a head turner.

This is the rocket launcher that I made. It is light weight, easy to carry and takes one 12 gram C02 to launch out the nerf rocket. There is two confirm vehicle kills @ Operation Blind Fury 13
What type of distance have you been able to get with it?  How flat does it fire?

I have never played a game with a simulated "armored"  vehicle.  But I always wondered about the windows in the vehicle.  If they are closed,  you cant shoot inside to disable it.  If they are open essentially the operators and passengers have to be okay with being shot in the head region. If you hit it with a 203 shower shell, what if they don't hear the hit?  I figured a rocket launcher was the answer.  But how do you decide on your projectile?  You want enough mass to make a definitive thud.  But you don't want to hit a player and hurt them.  I have so many questions.

I'm just curious of anyone had made their own rocket launchers and what design choices they made and why?
I know I could always just Google a set of plans.  But I want to be able to ask what would change about your design.  Then there is the possibility of being able to see it in action at a state game.

I'd buy a pair of patches,  that way if I go to a out of state game I'd still be representing.

The SMG idea would be interesting. I know the shorter barrels would mean decreased range, but full auto might balance them a bit on the field.

What if any AEG that fired faster than a certain ROF had full auto modified to a 3—5 round burst with a delay. Or each burst is per trigger pull?

A few years ago I did wonder if there would ever be ROF enforcement for games.  Like a formula used to estimate the  replica's ROF.  By using the gun's ROF that the replica is based on.

I'm not really a fan of super ROF guns because it detracts from skill.  When your AEG makes almost a solid line of Bb's you end up just walking them onto your target. Maybe if it's a machine gun and they are providing cover fire,  but other than that I don't really see the appeal there.  Personally I would want a fast trigger response,  which may put me in that high ROF area mechanically speaking.  But it would be for semi fire only,  even if I needed a full auto lockout.

I remembered when those came out.. I thought they were cool at the time too.  But I knew that snipers took loads of cash to be accurate.  At the time I didn't the cash for it.

Nice I've been a fan of the M&P series, ergonomically I think they are a much better option than Glock or XD at least in my hands. I will say though Springfield has done an excellent job in their new Mod2 stuff which is also quite good. But S&W has been making comfortable poly guns now for a while and hasn't needed to completely change the grip design either;)

I own quite a few poly lower guns but I always seem to find myself carrying a 1911 more often than not. I like the action, and there is something about them that just works well for me;)

I held a XD a few years back and really disliked the grip on it.  It felt almost aggressive in my hands.  I really wanted a 1911 but I could only afford a Rock Island Amory one.  My friend told me he found a deal on CDNN for these for around 370 with two magazines. I paid  just shy of $400 after the transfer fees and whatnot.

Before I took a break from airsoft I really wanted a G3 with wood furniture. They looked so beautiful and badass at the same time. At the time I couldnt afford the gun, the metal body kit and the new pouches I would need to run G3 mags(if I could find them)
