AEG / E&L AK
« on: May 05, 2019, 07:51:15 PM »
I bought a used and upgraded E&L AK74 Spartan. It shoots wonderfully but has some issues with firing semi and full auto on the correct switches. Is this a common issue for AKs?

Tech Questions / MP5 Feeding issues
« on: April 23, 2019, 08:29:06 PM »
I bought my brother a Galaxy MP5. When it came the highcap it was using would feed about every other shot. I got an Echo1 straight midcap, and now it is very finicky, having shots roll out the barrel and sounding jammed. Could it be an issue with the gun, or just bad mags? Everyone I know vouches for the midcaps.

Airsoft Discussion / Airsoft while in college
« on: February 11, 2019, 09:12:08 AM »
I'm a high school senior and will be off to college next year. I'd like to keep playing airsoft on the western side of the state, but was wondering how colleges feel about storing replica guns. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Airsoft Discussion / Spring Shotguns
« on: November 06, 2017, 02:59:01 PM »
As it's approaching indoor season I'm thinking about making the trek out to MCA for some cqb. I have my aegs, and they are fine beginner guns. However, I'm looking into investing in a dedicated close quarters weapon. What's the verdict on reasonably priced shotguns for indoors? Would i be better off with a pistol of equal price?

Newbie Discussion / Advice for a new player.
« on: October 02, 2017, 02:49:31 PM »
Hey guys,
I've been on the forums for a little bit, about 4 years I think. The catch is, I've only played one day at an official field, the outdoor one in Fenton that just closed. So I need some advice. I already love the sport, and am willing to put in some more time and cash into playing, but I'd like to know how far I should limit myself. Should I invest in some cheap surplus gear and a decent gun already? I know other people say the buying is addicting, so I'm on the fence whether I should just try to compete with my basic beginner kit and wait for a while. I know this isn't the most well thought out post, but I'd enjoy some input from some of the experiences people about your journey from a new player upwards. Thanks.

GAS / KWA LM4 as first GBB gun
« on: September 21, 2017, 08:02:23 PM »
I'm quite new to the airsoft scene, only having played a few games with some lower level AEGs. Since it's a bit of a haul to get to any fields (I live in the Tri-City area) I don't play very much except in the summer. I know that GBBRs are best used in the warmer times, and I was wondering if anyone had any first-hand experience with the KWA LM4, in terms of reliability and consistency. I love the idea of having a more realistic platform that can help me train and also have fun. Is this a viable option for me as a beginner, and what cost am I potentially looking at for a full setup?

Clothing & Load Bearing Gear / Pyramex safety glasses.

Has anyone had experience with these glasses? I know they are really cheap, but supposedly they meet lense safety standards and are full seal. I was just wondering if they would be allowed on a Michigan field. I know I've asked similar questions before, but I can't find solid reviews, and would rather be safe than sorry.

Clothing & Load Bearing Gear / Goggles/mask combo options
« on: February 15, 2016, 05:17:19 PM »
I just got new contacts in today, and am in the process of breaking them in for spring sports. Now I don't have the issue of finding goggles or prescription lenses that fit my glasses. Do you guys have any favorite goggles and half mask combo? I am 15, so I will need full face protection. Cost isn't a large factor, I would much rather spend my hard earned money on my safety than paying even more in doctor's fees. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Newbie Discussion / Airsoft field options
« on: February 08, 2016, 09:02:12 PM »
Hey guys, I am a noob that is finally moving within range of an airsoft field; previously I was up in the Thumb, where there seems to be a lack of airsoft players. I have been looking at Hells Survivors, Phoenix, and Eastside as possible places to play, as they all are about an hour and a half away. Any suggestions on a good place for a noob to start? Have I missed any fields around Saginaw? I haven't got any serious guns yet (thinking about renting first), so I have no preference toward cqb or field. Just looking for a place to get a good grip of the game. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
