Recruitment / Looking For Group for Milsims Southeast Michigan

Hey all, I'm relatively new to the hobby and looking for a solid group to deploy with for milsims or other local ops.

-25 years of age.
-Room for up to 5 people (4 more comfortably with gear) in my vehicle to ferry to events.
-Currently own 3 color dessert and woodland BDUs but can easily afford to match whatever spec a team is looking for.
-Replicas- G&G CM16, Elite Force 1911 A Tac, Echo1 SVD, Echo1 VMG74.
-I'm able to fill any roles required by the squad (Medic, Rifleman, DMR) and plan to pick up a sniper at some point in the near future.

Newbie Discussion / GoPro/Camera loadouts

I'm looking at getting a GoPro Hero4 Silver and was curious what sorts of accessories I should get with it. Any recommendations on SD card size, battery packs, and helmet pouches to hold an external battery would also be greatly appreciated.

Also appreciated would be thoughts on the hero 3 vs the 4 or any other suggestions and tips for cameras or recording.

I recently purchased a plate carrier and was not aware that it came with plastic plates already.

So i have 2 plastic plates available, asking $10 each brand new not even out of the plastic bags they came in.
Would prefer to meet in person over shipping if possible, I'm in the Taylor MI area.

Tech Questions / Mag Pull Midcap Not Feeding Properly G&G CM16

I recently purchased 2 mag pull mid cap magazines for my CM16. I took them out this weekend to test out and found they were feeding poorly for the entire clip. On strictly semi-automatic they fed once every 2 trigger pulls or so. On fully auto it was sporadic at best.

How would I go about addressing the feeding issue? The magazines have bit of give forward and backward when slotted into the receiver, so would tapping the mags make a difference? What are some other possible solutions?

Newbie Discussion / Gear priority when starting out?

If you were to give a new player a priority list for buying gear what would you recommend (gun,battery,pistol costuming, etc but not necessarily what brand/type to buy)?
Recommended minimum gear to begin playing pickup games?
Mil-Sim minimum gear set?
Must have equipment or recommendations for later on?
