Title: M4 Mags in an AK?
Post by: uaf on August 22, 2015, 08:56:56 PM
I have a friend who wants to go play airsoft with me but he only has one mag. I was wondering since I have so many M4 mags if there is any adapter to fit an M4 mag in an AK.

From a quick google search, it looks like there a designs that you can download for a 3d printer, but nothing mass produced.

I will say though despite not having experience with that adapter, adapters typically can be a real PITA. Sometimes they just give you feed issues, sometimes other problems etc. I've used them on a few guns not AK to M4, but G36 to M4 and had nothing but trouble.

So for the $40, I'd just spend it on AK mags rather than trying to adapt to another platform, just my 2 cents.

If you aren't worried about realism, 1-2 AK hicaps should be enough to get you through most casual games. If you are worried about realism, the adaptor won't cut it.
